All dressed up ….
I made this cute elastic waist skirt from an apple tree print fabric with a lilac background, then trimmed it with a matching green floral fabric. I then accented the hem with a cute double layer fabric flower and button centre to match the apples.
The fabric headband was made using various sized circles of scrap fabric in plain and floral cream toned fabrics, sewn in the centre to create a ruffled flower effect. Then attached to a band of elastic.
I decided to use a plain t-shirt and embellish it with a big bold ruffled flower in the same fabrics, topped off with a button centre to match the flower on the skirt.
